In German: “Great Beauty – The Phoenix”

“A diva reinvents herself again and again – a phoenix transforms throughout her life.
Art is the alchemy that combines the two.” – Deborah Ruggieri
Being a DIVA means constantly reinventing yourself, being colorful, sublime, wild, focused, proud, dignified, unpredictable and constantly evolving.
PHOENIX the fire, the mystical, the eternal transformation, the ascension, the letting go, trusting and recreating.
ART like articulation, expressing and creating.
Deborah Ruggieri has been a lifelong artist. She has been painting ever since she could hold a pencil. She gradually transformed her childhood bedroom into a work of art. Her father, who immigrated from Italy, was a star restaurateur in Braunschweig. His guests included renowned artists, and as a result, the restaurant increasingly developed into a gallery.
She studied cultural studies, political science, and art history and now works not only as an artist but also as a trainer and business coach. Women in leadership roles are often a central theme. Self-determination is a strength that she embraces in both professions.
Deborah has been nominated to participate in a side event of the 2026 Venice Biennale.
